I'll start with my birthday last week (it was on the 22nd, btw). Starbucks gives you a free drink on your birthday when you sign up and register a gift card. I took the coupon they mailed me and used it on a Trenta iced coffee with milk and caramel syrup. Caramel macciatos don't fit in their espresso machines so I had to improvise. Later that day, I went to the movies and saw Journey 2 with an old friend. That movie was ok but it wasn't what I usually look for. It was fun nonetheless. When I got home, I was surprised with a lovely small cake, flowers and gift cards for Starbucks. As you may have realized from THIS previous post, I am always up for a new drink.
This is the Trenta size and it was full but I drank some and I mixed all the ingredients together. I was drinking it on the way home.
On Thursday my best friend came over and gave me half a dozen roses with a funny balloon quote and on Saturday I was asked what I wanted by my mother. At first I didn't know but then I started thinking and I realized that I've been wanting to do my nails for a really long time. We went to a nail salon and I asked they do gel nails. I got them rounded and they look sooooooooooo natural. It will be one week tomorrow and I still can't get over them. I stare at them almost everyday.
Finally, on Memorial Day, my little cousin took me to eat at The Cheesecake Factory. We had a blast talking and eating Italian food and the cheesecake slices we ordered looked and tasted out of this world. I wish I had taken pics. After we were done, we went across the street to the mall to walk it off. We were extremely full and happy.
It looks exact like my Dulce de Leche cheesecake.
My birthDAY ended up being extended for a almost a week. I felt so loved by my family and friends. If any of you just had or will have a birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!, I wish nothing but the best for you.
