Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Royal Wedding

I was so glad I was invited to the Royal Wedding. (Watched it on TV of course). Getting up at 5am was not easy but I was glad I did it. Many people recorded the event but I had to get up and watch it in real time. Only wish my friends were into it as much as I was. I've been waiting for the event for so long and now it finally happened.

Harry looked absolutely gorgeously handsome. There's not enough words to say he looked mighty good looking. Can you tell I'm jealous. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding took place at Windsor Castle on May 19, with 600 guests present in St. George's Chapel to witness their vows, and over 2,000 others awaiting them on the grounds of the castle. Following the ceremony, Prince Harry and the Duchess welcomed the 600 ceremony guests to one of two wedding receptions. The first, a luncheon hosted in St. George's Hall, was hosted by the Queen. The second, which took place later in the day at Forgmore House, was hosted by Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall.

Clare Waight Keller was the dress designer. She was the former creative director at Chloe before joining Givenchy. She also chose a cathedral-length, five-metre-long veil trimmed with lace depicting flora from each of the 53 Commonwealth countries. Some people had comments about how this dress was not fitted enough (Katy Perry) and how it was too simple but I thought it was just perfect. The veil is held in place by Queen Mary's diamond bandeau tiara, made in 1932, lent to Markle by the Queen. Its centre brooch dates from 1893, while the other jewellery came by way of a diamond bracelet and earrings all by Cartier. The all white floral bouquet features blooms that Prince Harry picked including Forget-Me-Nots which were Diana, Princess of Wale's favorite flower, sweet peas, lily of the valley, astilbe, jasmine, and astrantia. It also includes a sprig of myrtle, a royal tradition which dates back to the wedding of Queen Victorias daughter, Princess Victoria. Myrtle symbolizes hope and love.

As for Markle's engagement ring, Prince Harry proposed with all-diamond jeweled piece he designed for Meghan. It features a cushion-cut stone in the center, sourced from Botswana, in honor of his and Markle's special getaway trip together. The diamond is flanked by two smaller round-cut stones from Princess Diana's jewelry collection "to make sure she's with us on this crazy journey together," Harry said. The stones are set on a yellow gold band—Markle's favorite.

Makeup was perfect. In this picture she's out and about doing other things but its very similar to how she wore it on THEE day.
Her reception dress was also so simple, clean and gorgeous. I just love her minimalist taste.Prince Harry also changed out of his military attire into a more evening-appropriate tuxedo.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enlisted Claire Ptak, a London-based pastry chef from California, to make a spring-inspired, lemon elderflower cake for their wedding. The cake is decorated with Swiss meringue buttercream and 150 fresh flowers, including peonies and roses.

Among the celebrity guests were Oprah, Elton John, James Corden, Priyanka Chopra, Patrick J. Adams and Trojan Bellisario, Suits friends, David and Victoria Beckham, James Blunt, Serena Williams, Chelsy Davi, George and Amal Clooney, Pippa Middleton and James Matthews, Charlotte Riley and Tom Hardy, Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford and more.

Amal Clooney was wearing a gorgeous yellow Stella McCartney midi dress and matching veiled fascinator. My favorite outift of all guests.
