Scrolling over to YouTube, like I always do, I came across Bunny's "The Weirdest Boots ever?" and I fell faschinated by her review over these Docs. The story behind them is that they are called "The Garden of Earthly Delights". They are a triptych by Dutch painter,
Hieronymus Bosch. It has long been regarded as one of his most ambitious
and career-defining works. The left panel depicts God presenting Eve to
Adam, the central panel is a broad panorama of nude figures engaging
each other in a number of ways, fantastical animals, oversized fruit and
hybrid stone formations. The right panel is a hellscape and portrays
the torments of hell and damnation. Dr. Martens
have introduced a special edition of their boots and shoes featuring
sections of the painting. With that being said, I have never owned a pair of Docs but these lovely babies are going to be very well worth first.

Sunday Funday!
From now on, I think I'm going to name my outfits Sunday Funday. Sunday seems to be the only day where I can dress up. Monday through Friday are a drag to me since I work almost ALL day long and recently I started working on Saturday's too. I get lazy after work and just hang out in the house without changing into anything special.
This last Saturday I stopped by at The Pearl Cup near my job for a nice relaxing coffee. A friend of mine recommended it to me. She said it's the "best coffee in the DFW" and guess what.... it is. It was the most delicious latte I have ever tasted. I might just never go back to Starbucks. Ha ha, j/k. That green mermaid will always hold a special place in my wallet. Anyways, Sunday I went to the mall for an hour or two and bought some tea from Teavana, stopped by Re-Threads (thrift store), tried an iced cold latte from Dunkin' Donuts for the first time and finally exhausted myself out and went home. What about you? Anything interesting?

Because I want to!
Not much going on today. I went to church earlier, now I'm at home finishing a Starbucks Earl Grey latte. Thinking of watching Jane Eyre again. Also, wondering how I'm going to pay to see Coldplay in concert this June. I am totally and utterly broke. My doctor's sister in law is trying to get me some free tickets. I am crossing my fingers. Hopefully I can say "Chris Marin, here I come". I don't think Gwen will mind right? I'm just a another crazy fan. Just Kidding!
After a little drool moment, I felt like showing two of my outfits from a long time ago that I just never bothered to load. A good friend of mine told me that I needed to take pics so that I could one day look back and see myself for what I once was. Not that one day after I have children I'm gonna let loose and look disgusting but just so that I can feel good about myself now. I need to preserve my beauty (haha) in pictures. By the way, I loath taking pics. You will hardly see me smile but here you go. Enjoy!
Second pic was a dress from Forever 21 that I tried on and did not buy. I was sure if I liked it.

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!!
I went shopping this last Sunday and I bought a cute dark denim short to accompany my dull wardrobe. I haven't worn shorts, skirts, and let alone a dress in years. Not that I don't like them, I just found myself in a jeans rut. This is my outfit of the Sunday.
Cherish lace top

Forever21 shorts
Steve Madden sandals
Usually, I just side braid my hair but I think I'm going to try Gwen Stefani's hairstyle for a better look.

Breakfast with Jeffrey Campbell!
Now a days I don't really get excited about my birthday. As you grow up you realize that material things are not always what you want. As a child you want the latest toys, as a teen you want the best clothing, as a growing young adult you want a car and when you get past a certain age you just want to sit and enjoy a movie with a nice hardy meal. Of course, if you are like me, you want the greasiest sloppiest thing you can get your hands on. After all, you want to enjoy a little something.
If I had actually planned anything, I would have started my day with a nice bagel burger. (Don't worry about counting breakfast calories, you can walk it out and burn it off the rest of the day) Then I would scuff it down with a nice refreshing cold drink. (Or a nice cup of steaming Joe. Depends on what I feel like)

Jeffrey Campbell baby!!
At first I never thought I would give these shoes a chance but now they are really growing on me and I would not mind owning at least one pair. The price on a pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes are relatively inexpensive if you compare them to other brands. They are very unique, versatile and from what I have heard comfortable. Take a look at them and admire the many colors of Jeffrey. Check out Pink Kitten blog for her massive collection of ONLY Jeffrey Campbell shoes. (I am so jealous right about now.) Or go to Jeffrey Campbell to check out the story behind the shoes and fall in love with them like I did.

The dress crisis continues!
Today I went to the mall to see if they had any specials. Of course, there were a ton of deals. I went to my fave stores of all time (Anthropologie, Free People, F21, Urban Outfitters) and still couldn't find anything that caught my attention. I did however try on a dress at F21 that I wanted to try on for a while. I've seen it on Diya from InHerStilettos and when I tried it on, I found it pretty descent on me however, I wish it was a bit more cinched at the waist. A simple belt can help but I feel like I would ruin it.
Here is Diyas first.

OOTD!
After Best Buy I went to The Northpark Center to exchange a skirt I bought at UO. Santa Clauses' house was so nice that I had to take a pic.
Sweater: Abercrombie and Fitch
Pants: Dollhouse
Shoes: Steve Madden gladiator sandals
Necklace: Betsey Johnson
This is an odd sweater I tried on at TJ Maxx. Couldn't decide whether I liked it or not so I took a pic.

OOTD!
The Galleria is one of the places I rarely shop at. I prefer a smaller more easier way to shop. One level floor is all I need. Anyway, here is a post of some of the clothing that I tried on. This first pic is the OOTD.
Blazer: Urban Outfitters
Shirt/Necklace: Forever21
Pants: Buyaka
Sandals: Steve Madden
These are the pants I tried on at Zara. They are very comfortable and very easy to put on, however I don't like the price tag: $40. I recently purchased a pair similar to them at Forever21 for $15.
Look at what I found.
There was a baby one too. There was a British chair next to it. You can see it here.
Leather!
Leather has never been a fave of mine, which is why i've always avoided it nor even glanced at it. Since i've seen people wearing it as a trend lately, I waned to try it out for myself. I've saved a few pics for reference but you know it's never the same until you try it for yourself. One of the stores I like to shop at is Forever21 and I recently tried on a cute pair of faux leather shorts there. I immediately thought it was too short but I decided to try them out anyway. Since that day I can't stop thinking about them. I didn't purchase them at the time but I will go back and see if I feel the same way. I still won't know how to pair them but I will definetly give them another go.
A few inspirations to look forward to. The first one from the bottom is a Halloween costume that I couldn't resist putting on here. I think it's one of the most amazing fashionable costumes I've seen.

"Face" the shirt
These pictures with the clothing are from a couple weeks ago but I just didnt get around to them. Im not photogenic so I take a ton of pics and these were some of my faves.
I couldn't decide which was the better side, the back or the front. I wore them which ever way I wanted since

OOTD!
After watching so many outfits of the day (OOTD) I've decided to make my own. I'm going to start off by an outfit that I wore yesterday.

Yesterday I went to the mall to "window shop" but I ended buying a few things. So many stores so little time but the day had to end at some point. I went to Macys and in the mens department I saw and had to take a picture of this.

Dresses are a dilemma!
So I havn't worn a dress in over six years or a skirt for that matter. I've been hunting for the perfect dress or something to that sort. Here are a few that I've contemplated.
The only dress I bought was the black one on the top left, however I returned it. I liked it but it was too big even with the belt. Forever 21 didn't have a smaller size so I had no choice but to return it. The bottom picture I took at a later time.
